Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has alleged that the presidential primary election of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) was manipulated, claiming to possess evidence supporting his allegation.
Lawal made the claim during an interview interview on Channels tv Politics Today, where he raised concerns about the credibility of the party’s internal electoral process.

He said the outcome of the primary did not reflect a fair contest, insisting that the process was compromised.
According to him, “I have evidence that the ADC primary election was rigged.”
The former SGF did not provide specific details of the alleged manipulation but maintained that the party’s selection process was not transparent.
