Nigerian singer, Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has spoken out about her spirituality and beliefs.
During a recent livestream, Starr spoke candidly with Tiktoker Jarvis about her spiritual desire of becoming “as perfect as Jesus.”
She emphasised that while she is not religious, she is spiritually devoted.

“I am trying to be as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit and it doesn’t come with me only being in church. God says let it be unto you according to your faith. I have found a way that works for me,” she expressed.
Starr emphasised that being spiritual and less religious is what works for her in the meantime, but added that it might change later.
During the conversation, the music star also disclosed that she is venturing into the movie industry.
She revealed that she began her acting career last year, and her debut film is set to be released this year.
