Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has achieved another major international milestone after her hit single, ‘Bloody Samaritan’, earned a silver certification in the United Kingdom.
The certification, awarded by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI), recognises the commercial success and sustained popularity of the song, which was released in 2021 as part of her critically acclaimed debut album, 19 & Dangerous, under Mavin Records.
The achievement further reinforces Ayra Starr’s growing influence in global music and highlights the increasing international appeal of Afrobeats.
With the latest recognition, the singer joins an elite group of Nigerian artists whose projects have received UK silver certifications.
