In a groundbreaking recognition of his outstanding work in technology, peacebuilding, and youth empowerment, Aye Humphrey Ojochona PMIIM, MSc Peace and Security Studies, Founder and CEO of Nexus Hub Nigeria Limited, has been officially inaugurated as a Peace Ambassador of Nigeria.

Aye Humphrey Ojochona, a proud son of Kogi State, is a professional member of the Institute of Information Management (PMIIM) and Deputy Director of Strategic Planning and Trainings for the United Nations Youth Association of Nigeria (UNYAN).

He is widely celebrated as a data protection officer, cybersecurity professional, Web3 on-chain analyst, and a passionate advocate for SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). His mission is clear: to use technology as a driver of peace, security, and inclusive prosperity.

Driving Transformation Through Tech

As the Founder of Nexus Hub Nigeria Limited, a trailblazing tech company with operations in Abuja and China, Humphrey has trained, mentored, and sponsored over 2,000 Nigerian youths in hands-on technology skills, digital entrepreneurship, and job mentorship programs. His goal is to equip young Africans with globally competitive skills, reducing unemployment and empowering them to contribute meaningfully to society.

He also serves as an Implementing Partner with Community Impact Affinity (CIA) for its ICT Scholarship Program, which currently runs in Adamawa and Delta States, with plans to expand to more states across Nigeria. This program focuses on equipping local government communities with digital literacy and employable tech skills — bridging the gap between rural youth and global digital opportunities.

Under his leadership, Nexus Hub has delivered cutting-edge software solutions for clients across multiple sectors and pioneered Accessum, an innovative estate access control management platform that is redefining security and efficiency for gated communities across Nigeria.

Global Certification, Global Opportunities

Nexus Hub Nigeria Limited recently entered into a partnership with the Canada Skills Development Council (CSDC) — giving participants access to globally recognized certifications that boost their employability and competitiveness worldwide.

“Peace and security are sustained when people are empowered with the skills to succeed. Our partnership with the Canada Skills Development Council ensures that every participant we train is not just employable locally but globally competitive. This is how we build a safer, more prosperous Nigeria,” Humphrey said during his inauguration speech.

Technology as a Catalyst for Peace

Humphrey’s inauguration as Peace Ambassador underscores the critical role of technology in addressing the root causes of conflict, from unemployment to inequality. His dual influence as a tech innovator, grassroots empowerment partner, and UNYAN strategic leader positions him to shape policies, create opportunities, and inspire the next generation of peacebuilders across Africa.
