Renowned film and television art director, production designer, location logistics manager, and fixer, Matthew Alagbile (D.Icon), has reaffirmed his commitment to excellence in the Nigerian film industry, promising to keep the flag of his profession flying and to continue delivering top-quality work.

In a statement personally signed and made available to the media, Matthew (D.Icon) emphasised that Nollywood has some of the best talents and productions to offer the global stage, as reflected in some of his latest award-winning projects.

Among these are:.Breath of Life, where Matthew (D.Icon) served as Location Manager. The film, produced by Nemsia and directed by BB Sasore, won six awards at the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

There is also Madu, a Disney documentary where Matthew (D.Icon) worked as a Fixer. The documentary received two Emmy Award nominations and was produced by JB Multimedia, directed by Kachi Benson and Matt Ogens.

My Father’s Shadow, in which he served as Assistant Art Director. The film made history as the first Nigerian film selected to screen at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, and it also won the Special Mention for Camera d’or. It was produced by Fatherland and directed by Akinola Davies Jr.
