The 4th edition of the CHINET Aviacargo Conference, organised by ATQNEWS, will take place on August 22nd in Lagos
The conference will bring together aviation, cargo, and insurance industry leaders, as well as key regulators to tackle the challenges facing the industry.

The Insurance Commissioner, Mr. Olusegun Omosehin, will be the special guest of honor, while strong contingent of insurance professionals, including industry veterans and Chief Executive Offices, will participate in panel discussions and keynote speeches. Key topics will include the relationship between airlines and insurance, and the role of insurance in the aviation sector.
Aviation regulations for air cargo will be addressed by Capt. Chris Najomo, Acting Director General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), while the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) will highlight its contributions to air cargo growth, with presentations from the Managing Director, Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku and the new Directorate of Cargo Development Services. The Chief Executive Officer of Overland, Capt. Ed Boyo, will share his industry insights.
The conference will also delve into the role of airports in boosting air cargo, with presentations from the acting Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MM2, Remi Jibodu, and the COO of Ibom Air, George Uriesi. Capt. John Ojikutu will discuss opportunities in domestic air cargo, while Ayo Ife-Lewis of Greater Washington will address related challenges.
Export integrity and security will be covered by NAFDAC, NAQS, and industry stakeholders such as Pathfinders, NAGAFF, and APFFLON. The conference will provide a platform for in-depth discussions and practical solutions to enhance Nigeria’s air cargo sector.
