In a long-awaited revelation, the autopsy report for the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, has been released. Unfortunately, it failed to determine the cause of his death.

Wahab Shittu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, shared this update during a press briefing at the coroner’s inquest in Lagos State on Wednesday.

Shittu explained that the pathologist in charge of the autopsy informed the coroner that the decomposition of Mohbad’s body had advanced significantly by the time the autopsy was performed, making it impossible to pinpoint the cause of death.

“The pathologist stated that due to the body’s decomposition, determining the exact cause of death was not feasible,” Shittu reported. “In essence, this means the cause of death remains undetermined and suspicious, with no definitive reason identified.”

Additionally, the pathologist suggested that Mohbad’s death might have been triggered by a reaction to certain drugs administered prior to his passing. However, he emphasized that there was no conclusive evidence to confirm this.

The uncertainty surrounding the autopsy results leaves the cause of Mohbad’s death unresolved, adding another layer of mystery to the tragic demise of the beloved singer.

Sunnewsonline had earlier reported that on September 12, 2023, MohBad died in Lagos, at the age of 27.

The nurse who administered a Tetanus vaccine on him, was arrested and found to be an unlicensed nurse on 19 September 2023 by the Lagos State Police Command.
