With over two decades of experience in the film industry, award-winning filmmaker Austin Faani has refined his talents as an editor, writer, director, producer, and cinematographer.
His latest project, “Red Alert,” recently premiered in Dallas, Texas, and is poised to captivate audiences in Houston, Atlanta, Maryland, and New York.
“Red Alert” showcases the remarkable acting skills of Jide Kene Achufusi, Tina Mba, Linda Osifo, Alex Usifo, and other talented performers.
With a career spanning twenty years in the Nigerian film industry, Austin Faani displays his creative brilliance in this film, which tells a gripping story of love, family, loyalty, and betrayal set against the backdrop of drug runners and cartels.
The film also features the breakout role of Nigerian-born heavyweight fighter Kizzy Uzoma (King Kizzy), who immerses himself in the character “Ghost,” a figure reported to be as formidable as he is in the boxing ring.
“Red Alert,” filmed entirely in Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria, has kicked off its international tour with a premiere on March 9, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.
The film which would screen in Houston, Atlanta, Maryland, and New York, is also set to make its grand entrance in cinemas across Nigeria in 2025.
