The two-year-old administration of Governor Alex Otti will be subjected to a critical review at a symposium being organised by the Abia Think Tank Association (ATTA), Lagos Branch, scheduled to hold on March 1, 2025.

The thought-provoking symposium with the theme, “The Current Government in Abia: Is it the One to Come or Look We for Another?” will provide a platform for stakeholders, experts, and citizens to engage in constructive discussions and debates about the performance of the Otti administration and also explore alternative solutions and perspectives on how to move the state forward.

In a statement by Abia Think Tank Association (ATTA), jointly signed by the President, Mazi (Dr) Sam Ohuabunwa and General Secretary, Mazi Chuks Nwosu, the group expressed its strong belief that “it is essential to have an open and honest conversation about the state of governance in Abia State.”

ATTA said that the forthcoming symposium, to be held at the Lagos Country Club Hall, Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Ikeja, Lagos, would “provide a unique opportunity for citizens to engage with experts and stakeholders, and to contribute to the conversation on the future of our state.”

Abia State governor, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, will be Special Guest of Honour while Dr. Chidi Amuta will be the keynote speaker at the event that will feature panel discussions, and an open forum for questions and answers.

The symposium which is expected to be a robust and insightful discussion on the future of Abia State, will attract a diverse range of participants, including policymakers, academics, business leaders, and civil society organizations.
