Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has been commended for what has been described as transformative leadership and progressive development across the state in his first year in office.
In a statement marking the administration’s one-year anniversary, Chief Abdul Tunji Mohammed (ATM), the Balogun of Ikareland, praised the governor for fulfilling most of his campaign promises within a short period.
According to Mohammed, Ondo State has “never been so lucky with such a leader,” noting that Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated a detribalised leadership style with equitable distribution of projects across the three senatorial districts.
He said the administration had focused on rural transformation through visible infrastructure and ensured inclusive governance, with all parts of the state adequately represented.

Mohammed also urged residents of Ondo State to continue supporting the governor to enable his administration to deliver more dividends of democracy.
He further applauded the governor for organizing the recently concluded Ondo State Investment Summit, which reportedly attracted no fewer than 100 local and international investors. Describing the summit as a strategic move, Mohammed said it was aimed at attracting partnerships and repositioning the state as a prime destination for industrial and economic growth.
He expressed optimism that the administration’s goal of reducing overdependence on civil service employment while building a thriving private sector-driven economy is gradually being achieved.
