A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State, Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi, has said chances of the party’s presidential and other candidates remained brighter because of his national acceptance.

Dingyadi stated this in an interview with the newsmen in Sokoto. He described the party’s presidential candidate as a decent person and capable of transforming the nation’s misfortunes.

He said PDP presidential candidate lives a good and prospective life committed to nation-building with people’s interests.

Dingyadi, who is also Senior Special Assistant on Media & Communications to the PDP National Chairman, Dr Iyorchia Ayu, said Abubakar is an advocate of goodness, peace, development, political unity and cohesion amongst Nigerians.

Speaking on why the party presidential rallies were shelved in both Taraba and Rivers states, Dingyadi, a member of the Media Advisory Committee of the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Organization said the rally in Jalingo was due to unfavourable climatic conditions that prevented flight schedules while the issue of security prevented the rally in Rivers state.

“We have responsible political rallies because people came out despite the insecurity, fuel, and new naira notes scarcity in the country, ” He added.

He criticized those pedalling propaganda mischievous comments to malign Abubakar’s personality noting that such cannot be successful and will be doomed before and after the election.

He appreciated Nigerians, especially the PDP supporters across the country who have come out from their villages, towns, and cities to welcome our presidential team during campaign rallies.

He however called on Nigerians to vote wisely and vote PDP in recognition of distinguished and qualitative candidates vying for various positions in the country.

”The chance of PDP is very bright, in fact, brighter than ever before, since we (PDP) left power in 2010.” Dingyadi added.
