Paul Ibe, former vice president Atiku Abubakar’s media adviser, has compared Arise TV’s Rufai Oseni to Mehdi Hasan, an Al Jazeera program anchor.
Ibe’s remark came during an exchange between Mehdi Hasan and President Bola Tinubu’s media advisor, Daniel Bwala, on the popular Head to Head program.
Several challenging questions were posed to Bwala during the broadcast, but he made every effort to avoid them, resulting in a heated conversation with the interviewer.

Bwala also denied all critical comments he made against President Bola Tinubu before he was appointed.
The interview has been generating reactions across the social media as netizens slammed him for allegedly embarrassing the country.
Reacting, Ibe in a post on X, said Mehdi Hasan’s roasting of Daniel Bwala has given Nigerians a better perspective of Arise TV show host, Rufai.
He wrote, “Love Rufai Oseni @ruffydfire, or hate him, Mehdi Hasan’s roasting of Daniel Bwala has given us a better perspective of Rufy as a broadcaster who got the memo to unearth these fraudsters and dogs who are not ashamed to eat their vomits. Every TV network needs a Rufai Oseni.”
