The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced PDP’s Atiku Abubakar as the winner of the presidential election in the FCT
.He recorded 259,997 votes while his opponent, President Muhamudu Buhari, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) recorded 152,224 votes.
Young Progressive Party (YPP) recorded 1083 votes and while PCP recorded 2,921.
The announcement was made at the INEC collation centre, Abuja. The result showed that Atiku topped Buhari with 107,773 votes.
