Atiku leads in Rivers presidential election
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is leading in Rivers State presidential election result so far declared by INEC. Abubakar has polled a total of 473,971 as against the All Progressives Congress’ candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari’s 150,710.
The result is exclusive of the disputed Emohua LGA figures. Total votes cast in the state were 642,165 while rejected votes stand at 24,420.
