Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has commiserated with Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State over the death of his brother, Engr. Sunday Makinde.
In a statement, Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, Sulaimon Olanrewaju disclosed that the older Makinde died on Friday aged 65.
In a condolence message, Atiku prayed for God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss.

“It is with a heartfelt grief that I share my condolences with the Governor of Oyo State, Engineer @seyiamakinde, over the passing of his elder brother, Sunday Makinde.
“I also particularly condole with the immediate family of the deceased and pray that God Almighty grants them the fortitude to bear the loss.
“May the soul of the deceased be blessed with a gentle repose into eternal life,” he said.
