Atiba University elevates two scholars to rank of professor

Atiba University Oyo has promoted two of its eminent academic staff members to the rank of Professor. This achievement reflects the university’s continued commitment to academic excellence, groundbreaking research, quality teaching, and impactful community service.

The elevations followed rigorous internal and external assessments, in line with the standards of the National Universities Commission (NUC), and were approved by the appropriate authorities of the university. Their promotions stand as a testament to the university’s policy of rewarding hard work, merit, and sustained contributions to scholarship and society.

Prof. Amos Oyetunde Alabi, elevated to the rank of Professor of Educational Management, Policy, and Planning. Alabi has distinguished himself through outstanding scholarly contributions, a robust record of peer-reviewed publications, and exemplary service in teaching and mentorship.

His research in the areas of educational management and planning has informed both policy and practice, while his guidance of undergraduate and postgraduate students continues to shape the next generation of educators and administrators.

Prof. Adeniran Rahman Tella, promoted to Professor of Strategic Management and Public Policy. He has consistently demonstrated research excellence in the areas of corporate strategy, policy analysis, and management practice.

With over 45 scholarly publications in reputable local and international outlets, his work has influenced both academic debates and practical applications in the field of management. Beyond research, Prof. Tella is respected for his impactful teaching, effective supervision, and leadership contributions within and beyond Atiba University Oyo.

Speaking on this remarkable development, the Vice-Chancellor of Atiba University Oyo, Prof. Sunday Olawale Okeniyi, congratulated the newly promoted professors.

He praised their dedication, resilience, and unwavering pursuit of knowledge, noting that their elevation is not only a personal milestone but also a collective victory for the university.
