Atalanta is reportedly willing to let Ademola Lookman join Inter Milan, but only under two key conditions.

According to Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, the first condition is for the Nerazzurri to increase their offer.

Inter opened negotiations with Atalanta with a tangible €40 million bid.

However, La Dea rejected the offer as they hold out for a €50m asking price.

Therefore, they have urged Inter to improve the terms.

Reportedly, the club would greenlight the deal for €45m paid upfront, with an additional €5m tied to performance-related bonuses.

An improved offer is only the first condition. Indeed, there’s another key element that could be just as crucial.

It’s now clear that Atalanta is open to selling Ademola Lookman.

Last summer, Atalanta and Juventus spent almost the entire transfer window negotiating a deal for Teun Koopmeiners.

The Dutchman’s late move to Turin left La Dea with no time to find a suitable replacement.

Now that they’ve learned from that mistake, Ivan Juric’s men want to avoid another summer-long saga.

Therefore, time has become a factor.

Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Inter is expected to send an improved offer to sign Atalanta star, who has a €50m price tag.

Inter is expected to continue talks with Atalanta for Lookman, and according to Gazzetta, the Serie A giant is likely to send an improved bid for the Dea star.

Negotiations between the two clubs were expected to continue yesterday after Inter reached an agreement on personal terms with the latest African Ballon d’Or winner.

According to Gazzetta, Inter has sent an offer to sign Lookman on loan with an obligation to buy, but its domestic rival aims for a permanent sale for €50m.

As reported by our transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà last week, an agreement could be reached for €45m including add-ons, but Inter have yet to make an improved bid for the Nigerian striker.
