First Lady of Nigeria Oluremi Tinubu has described Vice President Kashim Shettima as a leader who has exemplified “strength, loyalty, commitment, and love for country” as he marks his 60th birthday.
Mrs Tinubu, in a congratulatory message to Shettima on the occasion of his Diamond Jubilee, joined his wife, Hajiya Nana Shettima, family members, and friends in celebrating the Vice President.
“60 hearty cheers to Your Excellency,” the First Lady said.
“On this occasion of your Diamond Jubilee, I join your wife, Her Excellency Hajiya Nana Shettima, family, and friends in celebrating you.”
She praised Shettima’s service to the nation, saying his conduct as Vice President reflected strength, loyalty, and unwavering commitment to Nigeria.
“As Vice President of our beloved nation, you have exemplified strength, loyalty, commitment, and love for country,” Mrs Tinubu said.
The First Lady also celebrated Shettima’s achievements across the banking, legislative and executive sectors, recalling his service as governor of Borno State and as a distinguished senator.
“I celebrate your achievements as former governor of Borno State, a former distinguished senator, and an accomplished banker,” she said.
Mrs Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to grant the vice president good health, peace, joy, and happiness as he enters a new decade.
“As you attain this milestone, I pray Almighty Allah continues to bless you with divine health, peace, joy, and happiness,” she said.
“Happy Birthday, Your Excellency.”
