Entertainment stakeholders, community members, media partners, family and friends gathered to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Ayoola Sadare’s Inspiro Productions held in Lagos from October 1-4, 2026.
Anchored on the theme: ‘The Creative Economy Experience,’ the four-day celebration marked Inspiro’s formal repositioning as a creative economy strategy and development company, and showcased its upgraded and rebranded Inspiro Creative Hub located at Masha, Surulere, Lagos.
Coinciding with Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary, the occasion celebrated Inspiro’s journey as a proudly Nigerian company and its renewed commitment to unlocking the economic potential of Nigerian creativity.
Special guests who graced the occasion included Ben Dancer, who recently undertook the 168-hour Guinness World Records dance-marathon attempt in Lagos and received technical, media and other support from Inspiro.
Other distinguished guests were veteran musician Tee Mac, Gloria Ibru aka Mama Gee, and Bayode Olaiya, accomplished trumpeter and scion of highlife legend Dr. Victor Olaiya; city painter Chima Ewenzor, Dr. Ladejo of Good Faith Hospitals, Dr. Kayode Adegboyega, Dr. Tolu Taiwo, RTEAN Surulere chairman and his members. Their presence, alongside other personalities, added to the spirit of celebration and fellowship.
The event also marked the 5th year remembrance of Mrs. Margaret Olatokunbo Sadare, mother of Inspiro Productions’ founder/CEO and one of the company’s strongest supporters and patrons.
Her life, encouragement and enduring place in the Inspiro story were honoured with gratitude, adding a deeply personal dimension to the milestone.
From creative expression to economic value
After 25 years of experience across music, entertainment, events and culture, Inspiro is expanding beyond traditional event production to focus on a bigger opportunity: helping transform creativity, talent and intellectual property into sustainable businesses, jobs, wealth and global influence.
The thinking behind this repositioning is straightforward, as Ayoola Sadare believes that Nigeria does not lack creativity; it needs stronger systems to convert creativity into lasting economic value.
“Creative talent needs development. Ideas need protection and ownership. Intellectual property needs investment and commercialisation. Creative enterprises need infrastructure, professional management, distribution, market access and sustainable revenue models,” he shared. “Inspiro’s new direction is about connecting these elements – from talent and ideas to intellectual property, production, infrastructure, distribution, monetisation and wealth creation.”
At the heart of Inspiro’s new direction is a question designed to challenge businesses, institutions, investors, creatives and policymakers: What is your creative economy strategy?
For corporates, Inspiro asks how creativity, culture, innovation and intellectual property can strengthen brands, open markets and create competitive advantage.
For governments and institutions, it asks how talent, infrastructure, policy and investment can generate employment, enterprise and economic growth.
For investors, it asks how creative assets and businesses can be developed into viable investment opportunities. And for creatives and entrepreneurs, it asks how talent and original ideas can become owned assets, sustainable income and long-term wealth. The message is clear: creativity should not end at expression; it should create value.
Right now, Inspiro intends to help bridge the gap between creative potential and economic performance through two complementary areas of work: strategy and advisory, and platforms and execution. These connect strategic planning, branding, talent development, intellectual property and partnerships with practical platforms such as creative hubs, festivals, content production, experiences, and commercialisation initiatives.
Inspiro Creative Hub: More than event venue
The upgraded Inspiro Creative Hub embodies this practical approach. Developed as more than an event venue, the Hub provides space and facilities for creative production, rehearsals, content creation, photography and video, events and experiences.
Its Weekend Creative Pop-Up Market also creates opportunities for creative entrepreneurs to showcase their products and connect with potential customers.
Inspiro’s wider initiatives include – Know Your Numbers – its health-awareness and medical outreach programme, alongside support for creative talent and ambitious cultural projects. Together, these activities reflect the company’s commitment to connecting ideas with platforms, partnerships and opportunities for practical impact.
The creative voyage continues
For Sadare, 25 years is both a milestone and foundation for what comes next. As a proudly Nigerian company, Inspiro aims to help build the strategies, platforms and partnerships that enable Nigerian creativity to generate greater economic value locally and compete more effectively in the global markets.
“To everyone who celebrated with Inspiro, offered encouragement, shared memories or contributed to the journey, we say ‘thank you.’ The creative voyage continues. The vision is bigger. The opportunity is greater. And there is space for more,” Sadare concluded.
