Aspira hosts ‘Come Wash with Hilda’ lifestyle brunch in Lagos

Aspira Nigeria Limited, makers of Viva detergent and other household cleaning products, recently hosted the maiden edition of its Lifestyle Mini Brunch series, themed “Come Wash with Hilda,” in Lagos.

Held at Wasche Point Laundromat in Lekki, the event brought together selected lifestyle influencers, digital content creators, social media followers, and members of The Clean Collective community for an interactive session with Viva brand ambassador, Hilda Baci.

The brunch featured a fabric care masterclass, product demonstrations and conversations on everyday laundry practices, with participants receiving practical tips on washing different fabrics and maintaining the quality and longevity of their garments.

Participants also heard from Ruth Okunnuga, Founder of Wasche Point Laundromat, who shared insights on garment maintenance, fabric preservation and common laundry practices. She also discussed the use of Viva products in machine washing and other laundry applications.

Speaking at the event, Head of Marketing at Aspira Nigeria Limited, Barbara Onianwah, said the initiative was created to provide consumers with practical knowledge around everyday fabric care.

“At Aspira Nigeria Limited, we believe laundry is more than just getting clothes clean; it’s about helping people take better care of the things that matter to them. Every garment has a story, and with the right fabric care habits and quality detergents, those clothes can look better and last longer. That’s why we’re creating experiences like ‘Come Wash with Hilda’, to share practical knowledge, answer everyday questions and help consumers get the very best from every wash,” she said.

The session included demonstrations of Viva Plus, VivaMATIC Detergent and Viva Plus Gold, with participants learning about their applications across different fabrics and washing methods.

The “Come Wash with Hilda” brunch is the first in Aspira Nigeria Limited’s Lifestyle Mini Brunch series, with subsequent editions expected to provide further opportunities for consumer engagement and conversations around fabric care.
