The founder of ASCI, Joy Osomiamhe-O has congratulated a renowned education administrator, Hon. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu on his appointment by the governor of Edo State, Sen. Monday Okpebholo as the Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).
He was among the first appointees of the governor following his swearing-in earlier in the week as the Chief Executive Officer of the South South state.
In a congratulatory message on Saturday, Joy Osomiamhe-O described Hon. Paddy Iyamu’s appointment as a round peg in a round hole. Hoping that they would collaborate with the Subeb to improve quality education in the state with the Annual interschool quiz competition and many other innovative programs within the state for the good of Edo children
She expressed confidence that with his community engagement in the education sector, Hon. Iyamu will turn around the sector, and provide the right environment to reduce the rate of out of school children in the state.
