It was jubilation galore in the camp of Team Nigeria late on Friday as the country’s Judoka Ibrahim Abdallahi who suffered cardiac arrest discharged from the hospital, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Abdullahi suffered a tension pneumothorax which triggered the arrest during his Judo game.

He was quickly taken to a hospital where he was adequately attended to.

Ghanaian doctor, Ofei-Labi, the athlete’s Cardiothoracic surgeon confirmed his fitness to be discharged from the hospital having spent a week after his post-discharge management.
