Media personality Ariyiike Dimples has opened up about her rise in the broadcasting industry, crediting discipline, faith and a strong value system as the foundation of her success. She made the revelations during a candid conversation on the Open Up Podcast hosted by Amanda Dara.

Ariyiike recalled growing up in a large, strict household, saying the firm rules instilled in her respect, responsibility and the confidence to stand by her principles.

“Growing up, we had strict rules. It wasn’t always easy, but those rules taught me early on about respect, responsibility, and standing firm in my values,” she shared during the interview.

Her media journey began in her teenage years with an unpaid radio job, where she discovered her natural ability to speak effortlessly and connect with audiences.

Despite rising fame, she said she has stayed grounded by remaining authentic and refusing to compromise her values. She also shared her spiritual perspective on money, describing wealth as a divine blessing that must be managed with humility.

Ariyiike highlighted the 50/30/20 budgeting rule as her personal financial guide, stressing that money should be managed carefully and not wasted. She noted that responsible wealth management is both a financial and spiritual discipline.

Her story, she said, is a testament to staying true to oneself, maintaining integrity and pursuing success through discipline and faith, principles she hopes will inspire young Nigerians and aspiring broadcasters.
