Appointment of new Super Eagles coach on hold

Last week, NFF president Ibrahim Gusau promised that a new coach for the Super Eagles will be announced in “a few days”, but there are strong indications that this appointment may now have been put on hold.

A top o cial simply told SCORENigeria: “The process (appointment of new coach) has been stopped for the time being.”

However, he would not elaborate on the reasons behind this decision following the intervention of the o ce of the President and how long this would be for.
