The Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) has empowered over 1,000 members across the country with 25 industrial sewing machines, grinding machines, freezers, cash gifts, food and other items to boost their businesses.
The Ministry also gave full scholarships to indigent students in primary, secondary schools and tertiary institutions within and outside the country. It, likewise, engaged in food gifting on a constant basis in the church.
Pastor in Charge of the welfare ministry, Seyon Faton, said the gesture was the initiative of the General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, who wanted to see that the needs and welfare of the MFM were taken care of, apart from the spiritual needs being addressed by God through several deliverance prayers and biblical teachings.
Faton stressed that the welfare ministry established years back was focused on attending to the needs of the members, irrespective of their tribes, sex or academic qualifications.
He explained that the humanitarian arm of the church pays hospital bills, house rents, picks bills for training of members in their preferred skills and empower them with starter packs.
