Stakeholders of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Idemili North local government area, Anambra State have praised the leadership qualities of its current national chairman, Chief Edozie Njoku towards repositioning the party in national politics.

The stakeholders who spoke during the local government meeting of the party held at Nkpor yesterday also restated that despite some seeming differences among the party hierarchy, they have only one leader of the party in the person of Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State.

The Interim Chairman of APGA Idemili North LGA, Hon. Churchill Okafor and the secretary, Mrs Chinenye Ezeh congratulated the National Deputy Chairman (South) of the party, Freedom Obi and the National Vice Chairman (Southeast), Hon. Tony Ezekwelu for bringing their wealth of experience to build the party.

“Chief Edozie Njoku, the man in charge of the party is a man of determination, a Christian and a man who possesses the required leadership qualities. APGA Idemili North is solidly behind him in all his undertakings for the party” they stated.

A local government chairmanship aspirant in Idemili North, Chief Dan Igbokwubili-Obih in a remark during the meeting stated that the party leadership has extended an olive branch to all its faithful and other members who left the party before now.

He posited that Governor Soludo has provided the required leadership for the party and will take the right steps going forward both in the party affairs and the upcoming local government elections in the state.
