Anambra State Governor and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) leader, Chukwuma Soludo, on Wednesday delivered a major boost to President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, declaring that the All Progressives Grand Alliance would campaign for the President “24/7.”
Soludo made the pledge at the inauguration of the APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where he appeared as Anambra State campaign coordinator despite APGA being outside the ruling party.
“Count on us, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, 24/7,” Soludo told Tinubu. “We are with you because we believe.”
The Governor left little room for doubt about APGA’s position, saying the President’s return for a second term was already settled in the minds of his supporters.
“We are talking about when you get into the second term,” he said. “It is the acceleration in the transformation process — from stability and reform to shared prosperity.”

Soludo described Tinubu as a symbol of “the unity of Nigeria, the security of Nigeria and the shared prosperity of Nigeria,” saying those values informed APGA’s decision to back him.
He also defended the administration’s economic reforms, acknowledging their difficulty but insisting they were necessary.
“The path you have chosen, that you have had the courage to take, is the difficult but necessary path,” Soludo said.
He argued that Tinubu’s second term would consolidate the gains of reform and move Nigeria towards what he called “pragmatic progressivism.”
“There is no way you change a winning team,” he added. “If it is not broken, why mend it?”
