A sociopolitical women’s group, the APC Women Vanguard, has hailed the appointment of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Benue State, Chief Benjamin Omale, as the Board Chairman of the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Enugu State.
The Chairlady of the group, Mrs Onma Ogenyi, in a statement made available to newsmen in Makurdi on Wednesday, described the appointment as perfect, charging him to make himself an instrument of socio-economic development and growth for the hospital.
The APC Women Vanguard maintained that the recognition of Chief Omale by President Bola Tinubu signifies a testament to his outstanding leadership qualities, which have, within this period, brought stability to the ruling party in the state.

Mrs Ogenyi said the appointment was a well-deserved recognition that reflects his exemplary track record and dedication to excellence. She noted that with Omale at the helm of affairs of the hospital, the National Orthopaedic Hospital would be better repositioned to serve its purpose.
While emphasising the importance of placing competent and capable individuals in positions of leadership, Ogenyi commended President Bola Tinubu for his astute decision in appointing Omale to lead the hospital board.
She further commended Governor Hyacinth Alia for the choice of Omale as APC Unity Caretaker Committee Chairman in the state, saying it is crucial to have a visionary and competent leader like him at the helm of “our party”.
The Chairlady maintained that Governor Alia has shown enormous commitment to fulfilling his social contract and pact with the people of the state in the last two years.
