Director-General of the United Kingdom chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council, Muyiwa Adesua, has pledged to mobilise party members and Nigerians in the diaspora to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Adesua gave the assurance at the inauguration of the APC UK Campaign Council, attended by party leaders and stakeholders.
In his acceptance speech, he thanked the leadership of APC UK for entrusting him with the responsibility, saying the assignment was an opportunity to serve the party and strengthen its campaign ahead of the general elections.
He pledged to work closely with party leaders and stakeholders in Nigeria and the diaspora to build support for Tinubu and other APC candidates.
“I want to assure you that from today till the end of the 2027 election, we will work diligently to ensure victory for President Tinubu and all other candidates of our party across the country,” Adesua said.

Chairman of APC UK, Tunde Doherty, described the inauguration as a significant step in the chapter’s preparations for the elections.
According to him, the campaign council will focus on strategic mobilisation, diaspora engagement, campaign coordination and building grassroots support for the party.
“I congratulate all members of the campaign council. I believe that their collective efforts will contribute to a successful campaign and decisive victory for President Tinubu and other APC candidates across Nigeria in 2027,” Doherty said.
Feyisayo Ajayi was also inaugurated as secretary of the campaign council.
APC UK Publicity Secretary, Tunde Ajisola, said only the director-general and secretary were inaugurated at the ceremony, adding that other members of the council would be formally inaugurated at a forthcoming meeting.
