Adamu, has signified interest in contesting for the governorship of Nasarawa State under the platform of the APC.

Addressing newsmen during the rally, Awal Nurain, a member of the support group, accompanied by other members said the rally officially marked the beginning of the mobilisation and campaign for the ex-Police boss.

While giving the rationale behind the rally, Nurain argued that Adamu’s candidacy has been well received by the people of Nasarawa, judging by the show of solidarity from people from different walks of life.
