APC should not assume Nigerians are gullible – Galadima

Buba-Galadima

By Lawrence Agbo

A leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has warned the Federal Government, led by the All Progressives Congress (APC), not to assume that Nigerians are gullible.

Speaking on Politics Today on Channels Television on Thursday, Galadima made the statement reacting to the current situation in the country and the rejection of the newly signed electoral act.

“They shouldn’t presume that Nigerians are gullible and cannot react,” he said.

He compared the situation to the general elections in 2015, pointing out that the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan was overthrown at a time when, in his opinion, the North-East was far less insecure than it is now.

Galadima argued that Nigerians demonstrated their power to demand change in 2015 and could do so again if pushed to the wall.

“They should remember and know better that when things got to less than 10 per cent of the situation we find ourselves in 2025, Nigerians rose to the occasion and removed that government,” he added.
