APC NWC celebrates Shettima at 60

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has joined well-wishers to celebrate Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday.

The ruling party, in a statement by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, noted that: “attaining the diamond age of 60 is a milestone marked not just by years, but by a lifetime of selfless service, profound intellect, and unyielding commitment to the progress and stability of our dear nation.”

“As governor of Borno State during some of the most challenging periods in the state’s history, Senator Shettima demonstrated extraordinary courage, resilience, and compassionate governance.

“His commitment to infrastructure, education, and human capital development laid the groundwork for recovery and rebuilding of the entire North East geopolitical zone.

“Later, as a distinguished Senator representing Borno Central, his legislative contributions consistently reflected his deep passion for socio-economic development and national unity.

“Consequent upon his elevation as Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Shettima continues to exemplify loyalty, strategic economic foresight, and unwavering commitment to the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Tinubu-led administration.

“His leadership of the National Economic Council (NEC) and active driving of crucial economic initiatives are steering our nation toward sustainable development, industrial renaissance, and prosperity for all citizens,” the APC national leadership eulogised him.

While felicitating with him further, the spokesperson noted: “Our great party commends Vice President Shettima for his intellectual depth, humility, and bridge-building disposition. He remains an invaluable pillar of the APC-led Federal Government and a source of inspiration to younger generations of African leaders.”
