Briefing News men in Abuja, the APC National Women Leader, Dr Betta Edu urged women to vote, campaign, fund and pray for female aspirants to secure more elective positions.
“I sincerely hoped that more women would be represented in elective offices in 2023, as Nigeria could no longer boast to be the giant of Africa with low women representation in politics and governance.
This summit will look at all grey areas affecting women representation including urging men to canvass votes for women because women have always been supporting men’s political ambitions and that 2023 was the turn of women, hence the need for men to support them.
