The APC National Woman Leader and founder of the Tinubu Torch Bearers (TTB), Dr Mary Alile, has described Tinubu as the most courageous president of Nigeria, saying his re-election is the supreme task of the group.
“Our supreme task is to ensure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu. Any other issue apart from the re-election of the President is a distraction,” she said.
Dr Alile, who spoke yesterday at the ongoing two-day orientation seminar organised for the zonal and state coordinators at the National Secretariat of the organisation in Asokoro Abuja, tasked them on strategic communication in telling the world what President Tinubu has done and what he has in stock for the nation when he is re-elected.
“As we approach the 2027 presidential election, Nigerians will ask questions, and we, as the Torch Bearers of the administration, must equip ourselves with relevant answers to every question. We need to collaborate and work in synergy by sharing ideas and knowledge as we deliver our messages through strategic communication.”
Alile, who described members of the team as ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda, also tasked every zonal leader to visit various states under their zones to monitor progress. She charged every state to have functional executives at the state, local government and ward levels.

“The Tinubu Torch Bearers team must be open to embracing and receiving other support groups who are willing to work in line with our objectives to achieve our overall goals. Every state coordinator must open his or her arms wide to collaborate with various professional bodies, groups, associations and traditional institutions in their respective states,” she stated.
Earlier in her welcome address, the National Coordinator of the Tinubu Torch Bearers and former Chairman of the Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Dr. Ngozi Olejeme, described the zonal leaders and the 36 state coordinators present as the driving force of the group.
She said they should rise to the challenge by spreading the Tinubu gospel to every nook and cranny of their states in a peaceful manner, while providing responses to every question about the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Olejeme, who took time to express gratitude to the APC National Woman Leader for operating an all-embracing policy of bringing women together to have a place and platform to operate, called on all women to rally round the APC National Woman Leader and founder of the Tinubu Torch Bearers, as she is poised to ensure greater visibility for Nigerian women.
Highlights of the ongoing programme included a question and answer session, interactive discussions and awareness talks.
