The All Progressives Congress (APC) has named Dr Abimbola Fasanu as a member of the Humanitarian Directorate of its 2027 Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).
Fasanu serves as Senior Technical Adviser on Information Systems and Data Analysis to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr Bernard Doro.
Her name appeared on an updated membership list released by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka. Members of the council were inaugurated on Wednesday in Abuja.
Following the inauguration, Fasanu expressed appreciation for the appointment in a post on her social media page, describing her inclusion as an honour and reaffirming her commitment to the party and President Bola Tinubu.
The post also highlighted her resolve to contribute to the directorate’s work ahead of the 2027 general elections, drawing on her experience supporting efforts to lift families out of poverty.
Reflecting on that experience, she emphasised the significance of humanitarian interventions to families whose lives and livelihoods depend on them.
She also expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s prospects for re-election, citing his records in the humanitarian sector and other areas of national development.
