The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC South -South Chief Victor Giadom says the party has no justification not to win the upcoming Edo gubernatorial elections.
Chief Giadom disclosed this in an address he presented during the  Zonal Meeting of the party in Calabar, Cross River State.
He said this is critical on view of the people centered projects of President Bola Tinubu in the region.
He charged leaders of the party in the  state to resolve differences and mobilize the good people of the state  to resolve their belief in the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“it is important to solicit the support of leadership at all levels of our Party to mobilize the people in support of Mr. President and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“This is particularly important because of the huge infrastructural development, appointments, and other people centered projects being invested in the South South.
“We have no justification not to win the forthcoming Edo Governorship elections.
“Let me, therefore, use this opportunity to call on our leaders, particularly in Edo State to resolve all differences and mobilize the good people of Edo State to realize their trust and belief in the Renewed Hope Agenda”, he said.
He disclosed that despite the fact that the Renewed Hope Agenda is making waves in the region, it suffers political deficit and pledged to deepen consultations with the view of reversing this.
He commended the Senate President Senator Godswill Akpabio for his leadership and also President Tinubu for his confidence in Senator Akpabio.
Similarly, Senate President, Chief Godswill Akpabio assured the party faithfuls that the “days of loneliness” Governor of Cross River, Sen. Bassey Otu will soon be over.
He assured that APC governorship candidate, Sen. Monday Okpebholo of the support of the party members from the zone.
Akpabio also paid  tribute to the former Senate President, Joseph Wayas who bailed from thr zone  and commended President Tinubu for making the zone occupy the seat of Senate President after 45 years.
Gov. Bassey Otu on his part said Edo cannot escape the onslaught of the winning strategy of the APC and thanked President Tinubu for being a friend of the region.
