The Evidence Group, a youth led support movement of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State, will take its campaign for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu to 12 campuses across the state.

The announcement followed a tour of the state’s 18 local government areas, which ended with a grand finale in Calabar South. The group’s initiator, Edem Bassey, urged youths to take charge of the state’s political future.

Director General Bassey Henry Eyoma said the tour showcased the achievements of both leaders and was largely hitch free. He noted only pockets of complaints, such as the poor state of Aboticheche Roundabout in Bekwara.

Eyoma said the roundabout has been reported and is receiving attention. He added that campus engagement became necessary after the signing of the state budget and the planned payment of bursaries to students.

He said the group has mapped out campuses from north to south to listen to students and learn their problems. He urged Cross Riverians to support federal and state development efforts.
