APC governors laud Kebbi governor for uniting political leaders

The Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) under the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended Kebbi State Governor Dr Nasir Idris for uniting strong political leaders in the state.

They stated this during the APC Governors’ meeting held in Birnin Kebbi, which was followed by an APC stakeholders’ interaction at the Presidential Banquet Hall.

While addressing the APC stakeholders, Chairman of the PGF and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, commended Governor Idris for his warm reception, hospitality, and visionary leadership.

According to him: “We are in Birnin Kebbi for our regular Progressive Governors’ meeting and decided to meet with you, the party stakeholders. I must confirm that we are all happy and excited by the wonderful hospitality extended to us by the Governor of Kebbi State. We sincerely thank him for his generosity and leadership.

“What I witnessed here is unity and progress. It is extraordinary to see political gladiators such as Senator Adamu Aliero and Senator Atiku Bagudu sitting together. This speaks volumes about the peace and understanding Governor Idris has brought to Kebbi State.”

The PGF Chairman commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ongoing economic reforms, describing them as critical to rebuilding and repositioning Nigeria for greater prosperity. He expressed optimism that the temporary hardship experienced earlier under the reforms is gradually easing, with relief already visible across the country.

In his remark, Niger State Governor, Muhammad Umar Bago, also commended the state Governor for his efforts to sustain peace and unity in the party and state, urging the APC members to continue their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris.
