“We are ready to conduct delegate congresses in all 332 wards in the state,” he stated. “Our activities will be conducted without bias, and we welcome any complaints to address them fairly.”
Dange urged all stakeholders to see this important process as a necessary sacrifice for the party’s continued success.
Hon Chiedu Eluemunoh, Secretary of the Congress Committee, invited anyone facing challenges during the process to bring them forward, assuring that concerns would be handled promptly. He confirmed that all ad-hoc personnel required for the smooth running of the ward delegate congresses are already in place.
Eluemunoh specified that only revalidated APC members in the state will be eligible to participate, clarifying that being a member does not automatically mean one is revalidated. He also mentioned that an Appeal Committee would be available for members with grievances, with meetings beginning on 10 December 2025.
Tajudeen Lawal, state chairman of the APC, welcomed the congress team and gave assurances that the State Working Committee would provide any necessary support to aid their efforts.
