Felix Morka, the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) national publicity secretary, has backed Nyesom Wike’s ability to campaoign for any candidate, regardless of party membership, as the Federal Capital Territory’s minister.
Morka expressed his concerns about Wike’s political activities during an appearance on Channels Television’s Morning Brief program.

“If Nyesom Wike wants to go on campaigning for any candidate in any party whatsoever, he has the inherent liberty to do so,” Morka said during the interview.
He emphasized that Wike had constitutionally protected rights as a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, such as the freedom to participate in politics and form associations.
“Wike is a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who also has freedom guaranteed by the constitution. He has the right to support any candidate he wants,” he added.
