Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has hailed Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for joining the All Progressives Congress (APC) after quitting the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
The Kano governor officially resigned from the NNPP last Friday and formally joined the APC on Monday.
This followed a fallout with his political mentor and NNPP’s National Leader, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Reacting, Keyamo said with his APC move, Yusuf showed he prioritised the welfare of his people over blind loyalty to someone.
“My dear brother, H.E, Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf, welcome back home to the APC. With your giants strides in Kano as a true progressive Governor, it feels like that you never left the APC.
“History will record that you prioritised the welfare of your people over and above blind loyalty to anyone,” Keyamo wrote on X.
