The chances of national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nantawe Goshwe Yilwatda, retaining his position received a huge boost as party’s stakeholders purchased the N10 million expression of interest and nomination forms to re-contest his position in the forthcoming party’s National Conversation this month.
Presenting the N10 million dummy cheque while addressing newsmen at the party’s headquarters, the stakeholders hinged their action on the conviction that the national chairman has the capacity, and competent to move the party forward and secure victory in the upcoming elections.
The stakeholders who made the presentation revealed that the gesture came from Prince Simon Ali Support Organisation, calling for the retaining of zoning arrangement and endorsement of the national chairman for the zone.
According to Dominic Alancha, the Director General (DG) of the Support group, the stakeholders equally thanked President Bola Tinubu for ensuring that Yilwatda continues in the office.
