A party chieftain, Kehinde Saka, was reportedly involved in a violent incident on Friday evening at the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Acme, Ogba, Lagos, during activities related to the party’s ongoing congress.
According to a witness,the incident occurred shortly after Saka stepped out of a meeting to break his fast. He was said to have been confronted by a group of individuals, leading to a physical altercation in which he sustained injuries.
Security personnel stationed at the secretariat were said to have intervened promptly, bringing the situation under control and preventing further escalation.

Saka was reportedly attended to following the incident. Sources within the party suggested the altercation may be linked to tensions surrounding recent congress activities.
However, the exact circumstances and motive behind the confrontation remain unclear, but a source said that all the suspects involved and their sponsors had been identified and would soon be brought to book
