Such was the case when talented highlife maestro, Frank Ifeanyi Dons, aka Anyidons, paid a heartwarming courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Eze (Dr) Ambassador Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, Ezeigbo Ghana, on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
The Ichaka Master, Anyidons, is a celebrated singer, songwriter and performer known for his electrifying fusion of contemporary highlife and indigenous Igbo rhythms.
As a proud Igbo entertainer, Anyidons’ visit to Ezeigbo Ghana wasn’t just a mere formality; it was a reaffirmation of the bond that unites Ndi Igbo, regardless of borders.

In Igbo culture, acknowledging leadership and seeking blessings from traditional rulers is a sign of respect and unity, values that continue to define the Igbo spirit worldwide.
Eze Igbo Ghana, known for his fatherly role and commitment to fostering unity among the Igbo community in Ghana, welcomed Anyidons with open arms, appreciating his contributions to promoting Igbo culture through music. During the visit, conversations revolved around culture, unity and importance of upholding Igbo heritage, even while away from home.
