There is anxiety in Bayelsa State over the health of the Deputy Governor, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, who reportedly slumped at the Government House on Thursday morning.
According to investigations, Senator Ewhrudjakpo had been locked in a meeting with some community leaders and stakeholders over pipeline surveillance contractors on Thursday.
After the fierce meeting, he reportedly slumped while on the staircase and was immediately rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, where doctors are battling to revive him.

Findings indicated that government activities have been paralysed over the situation, as government functionaries are anxiously waiting for positive news on his health status.
Government sources disclosed that the State Governor, Douye Diri, who is out of the country, is on his way back to Nigeria over the situation in the state.
