Some executives members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Bambam ward of Balanga Local Government Area (LGA) of Gombe State have dissociated themselves from the probe of the senator representing Gombe south Bulus Amos on the allegations of anti-party activities initiated by the chairman and secretary of the party in the ward.

Financial secretary, youth and women leaders of the party in the ward while addressing journalists yesterday revealed that they were not part of the probe of the senator neither were they consulted before the decision was taken.

Recall that the ward chairman and secretary recently addressed a press conference on the alleged anti-party activities carried out by the senator in the last elections in the area and constituted an investigation panel to probe the lawmaker and recommend disciplinary action.

However, the other leaders of the party in the ward led by the financial secretary Shuaibu Datti yesterday dissociated themselves from the probe and described the act as mischievous.

According to him, the allegations were aimed at denting the image of the senator adding that they were not a party to that.

Also speaking, the assistant youth leader Saleh Rabiu and the party women leader Aishatu Abdullahi said senator Amos is a strong pillar of APC in Bambam ward, Balanga local, and Gombe State at large who has been working tirelessly for the party’s success.

While apologizing to the lawmaker for the action of the party, they called on those who have problems with him to have a dialogue and resolve differences amicably.
