Anthony Joshua is scheduled to face Jake Paul in a major heavyweight bout in Miami later this year.
According to The Daily Mail, the two groups are nearing an agreement in their discussions.
Paul had been supposed to meet American competitor Davis on Saturday night, but the fight was suspended due to claims of domestic violence against the latter.
