Another day of glory for Uzodimma

Hope-cool

Imo Governor Hope Uzodinma

For very verifiable reasons, Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State now wears the badge of a transformational leader. For five years, he been transforming and repositioning the state to the amazement of many. As someone noted, “Imo was hopeless before Hope came.”

For his profound achievements, despite the challenges, The Sun Newspapers and some other organizations honoured him with prestigious awards.

According to Mr Stanford Arinze Nwokedi, SSA to Uzodimma on Public Enlightenment, the Infrastructure Governor of the Year” award bestowed on the governor by Vanguard Newspaper is another deserving honour.

Nwokedi said: “The infrastructural transformation of Imo State is, without doubt, a truth no lie can hide. The works are credible and dot the landscape of the Heartland State. The new additions to the road revolution speak of industrialization – Electricity. The foundations are being laid. The government is fixated and unyielding. A 24/7 electricity supply is the destination. The newspapers have foresighted the prospects.”

Maintaining that Uzodimma deserves the honour, Nwokedi said:

“But the challenge in another couple of years will be the big shoe size of this visionary governor – the reincarnated Dee Sam Mbakwe.

“God will not disappoint Imo State. There are good under-students of  Uzodimma. A success must have a successor. The under-students of Hopenomics are not agitating. They do not heat up the polity. They are quietly understudying the road master. They are not in any harmony project anchored by wannabees. They are contributing their quota to the enlarging success that the 3R Government of Shared Prosperity has become.”

Oguwike Nwachuku, Chief Press Secretary/ Special Adviser, Media, to Uzodimma, said: “This recognition is nothing but a fitting tribute to Uzodimma’s transformative leadership, the unprecedented infrastructure legacy he is forging in Imo State that is marked by remarkable road development and transformative facilities, as well as the Governor’s unapologetic intention to leave Imo State better than he met it after a fulfilled eight years on the saddle.”
