The Anambra State Government is strengthening its digital governance agenda with increased focus on automation, innovation, and technology driven solutions to improve public service delivery across the state.

As part of the initiative, the Anambra State ICT Agency, yesterday, held strategic discussions with the Oasis management team on opportunities to expand automation across government processes and introduce smarter approaches to service delivery.  The engagement focused on using technology to simplify government operations, reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks, and improve efficiency across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).

The discussions also emphasised the need to develop digital solutions around the practical needs of Ndi Anambra, ensuring that technology does not merely replace manual processes, but delivers measurable improvements in how citizens access government services.

With increased automation, government agencies are expected to process services faster, improve coordination, and provide residents with easier and more convenient access to public services.

The initiative aligns with Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of positioning Anambra as a digitally driven state where technology and innovation are deployed to strengthen governance, improve productivity, and enhance the experience of citizens.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Anambra State ICT Agency, Mr Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, in a remark, highlighted the importance of technology in transforming public service delivery and building sustainable digital systems.

He noted that as the state expands its digital governance ecosystem, the government is  set to deepen investments in automation and innovation as part of efforts to create a more responsive, accessible, and technology-enabled public service.
