Nigerian singer and songwriter, Amy Flourish, whose real name is Amarachi Florence Ndisi has teamed up with Hugsmor Entertainment Limited to launch a cultural project titled CAPITAL Refix, a music-driven celebration of Africa’s economic trailblazers.

Globally released on Friday, August 8, 2025, Capital Refix also referred to as Egwu-Itu-Afa (Igbo for “Who-is-Who”) is more than just another single. It is a rhythmic tribute to entrepreneurs, political figures, innovators, and cultural icons that are reshaping the narrative of wealth and success across Africa.

“This is more than just music; it’s a celebration of legacy. We’re honouring the people who have shaped Africa’s money story—entrepreneurs, political influencers, job creators, and history makers,” said Amy Flourish. The fast-rising artiste, known for fusing Afrobeat rhythms with storytelling, highlights a diverse list of influential Africans in the lyrics from business moguls like E-Money, Femi Otedola, Mike Adenuga, and Innoson Motors, to entertainment figures such as Davido, and political leaders including Dr. Patience Jonathan, Atiku Abubakar, Ibrahim Babangida (IBB), Adams Oshiomhole, Nyesom Wike, Arthur Eze, and Alex Otti—the track is a roll call of Africa’s movers and shakers.

“Money is not a dirty word; it’s a tool for empowerment. Entertainment is a major employer of labour in Africa. So why not use music to celebrate wealth creation, rather than glorifying poverty? We need to start telling our stories from a place of strength and vision,” Amy added.

Distributed through DistroKid, the song is now available on Spotify and all major streaming platforms.
